Behind this website there is no organisation, or ‘team’. There is only a self-employed writer, sitting at a desk in a wild valley in the north of England. It’s always a real pleasure to hear from readers, but I’m limited in the number of personal replies that are possible in an inbox that always looks like an inundation. (And I’m afraid it’s just not possible for me to respond to the many, many requests for help with research, or help finding other resources or giving general advice that I receive, which otherwise would leave me no writing/ living time at all.)
